# Basic Rules of mfslink

### The following rules are essential for a nice and warm community.

1. There will be no Swear words allowed in any frequency
2. There will be no racial slurs in any frequency
3. You are obligated to report violations of rules to the REPORT FREQUENCY. Checkout [Basic Usage - Transmitting Channel](/mfslink-documentation/chapter-2/basic-usage-transmitting-channel.md#link_frequency-usage-table) for more information.
4. No trolling is allowed on any frequency.
5. Spamming is not allowed Spamming any frequency will result in a ban from mfslink.
6. No general chatting is allowed in EMERGENCYFREQUENCY, REPORT\_FREQUENCY, and all Controlled Frequency unless given permission.
7. You can always disconnect. If you need to attend another events, and have to discontinue the flight, you can always disconnect.
8. If there are no controller online, you go straight to unicom.&#x20;
9. Always use zulu time. The zulu time is what is used to display the time of when a radio transmission was sent.
10. If an atc is online, you have to follow the atc's instructions.
11. Formation flying is allowed!
12. Colliding into other is also allowed as well, but only when there are no atc controlling
