Basic Usage - Choosing Callsign

As a Pilot

Choosing your callsign is one of the most important factor of talking in mfslink. Your callsign will be what an air traffic controllers will call you by.

As you can see right here, your callsign will be at the start of every radio transmission, bolded. There might be special names on frequencies like the REPORT FREQUENCY.

Your callsign can consist of a airline flight number with your in game username in brackets like the example above or consists of just your in game username, like below.

As an ATC

Choosing your callsign will be easy. If you are a tower at Las Vegas, use KLAS_TWR. If you are a ground at London Heathrow, use EGLL_GND.

Where do I put my callsign?

The callsign of input is towards the bottom of the application. See the image below for help.
