Custom Server Terms

Starting from version v1.1.0, custom servers are open for anyone to host and join. But in this document it is the terms specifically designed for users who decides to create a server.

By creating a custom server, you are given a FREE license to create the servers. You must follow the following rules when creating a server.

  1. Updating to latest server version that is compatible with the latest application version is your responsibility, not the developers of mfslink's.

  2. You are in charge. You can choose to make your own rules for your server, you may edit the code of the server. However, the following rules apply to customizing your server.

    1. You must follow the terms on this page

    2. You must not update nor delete the first socket.emit function. They contains essential information to users logging into your server.

    3. You must not convert the server from Node.js to any other not-approved languages. This is to prevent server abusing.

    4. Members of your server must not speak racial slurs.

  3. mfslink is not in charge of fixing your server.

  4. If a mfslink developers asks you to update something in your server, you have to do it.

  5. You must not claim that your server is the default server of mfslink. The default server is the server hosted by mfslink itself.
